Re’Anna Danette Shavers, 10 days, of Peoria, passed away at 3:15 p.m. on Monday, June 23, 2008, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Re’Anna was born on June 13, 2008, in Peoria, a daughter of Rafael Shavers and Louwanda Kim Owens.
She is survived by her parents of Peoria; sister, Martina Shavers of Chicago; brother, Mickey Shavers of Chicago; paternal grandparents, Ernestine Garrett and Gary Green, both of Chicago; aunts, Deborah Owens, Joyce (Chester) Brown, Sophia Jimoh and Patricia Waldrop all of Peoria, Evelyn (Kenny) Norris of Indiana, Connie (Edward) Mooney of Normal and Patricia and April Green of California; and uncles, Gary Owens, Sr. and Cortez Owens of Peoria, Manuel Owens, Jr. of St. Paul, MN, Gary Green, Jr. of California and Renaldo Shavers and Arthur Green of Chicago.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Geraldine and Manuel Owens.
Re’Anna’s parents are members of the Church of the Living God, Temple 130 in Peoria.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2008, at Clary Funeral Home, 1625 W. Candletree Drive, in Peoria, with Bishop Leroy Smith, Jr. officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria. The Rev. Trent L. Williams is assisting the family with arrangements.

My heart goes out to Re'Anna's family. I don't know you, but I have children of my own and you are in my thoughts and prayers. I believe she was an angel sent to you, and now she is a special angel to your family.
